Old Ben the Pretender by Al Williamson (working on a few of his pages I'll post them on JohnO'Vision soon as I see fit. Coming up to the finale the showdown that created the lines ... Bit of Star Spotting-If anybody could come up with a new trilogy -Danny Boyle gets my vote .has to finnish off Trainspotting trilogy first though.
Has been a fun show-Can't wait to see how Obi Wan makes Vades into "..but the learner"either Yoda or Liam Neesons due to pop up... how does that come about we'll find out finally on Wednesday-It was Cool to see Alderaan in it's expansive glory-Empire only destroyed it coz it was jealous of it's beauty
Ralph would be proud,
I'll Leave on a truimphant note.
They should make James Earl Jones Speak N Spell-would Vader of worked if it was Orson Wells? nah...
Love it how they are teaching Americans to spell properly in this advert lol
Getting alot of Cathy Gale vibes from this image would be neat if FallOut London came out on The Jubilee
May have to cook up a John Drake/Number 6 preset I doubt any ones attempted making a Patrick McGoohan face for this yet -Truly love the Mr Ben meets Orwells Big Brother dude Mr Smythe already -looks like the Fallout London team have done the buisness !
My latest Fallout 4 playthrough features Emma Peel-- my first choice of a female character be it Mass Effect or Saints Row too -I've done millions of these vids but at last a few people have eyeballed them -usually to complain about frame rate -but at least I know the correct mods now to improve quality of game thanks to them.although my computer may die from it lol
(I laugh now)Even managed to get Purdey (Joanna Lumley) into storyline -trying to turn Jack Cabott in Jack Carter -have to figure out how to create a Micheal Caine Preset I will get back to Boba Fett playthrough but wanted to see how a different voice on Nora would work - I tried the English Skyrim voice originally which was more robotic - kinda got used to Caits accent although not a true Irish Accent but really need a Yorkshire accent for a Dame Diana playthrough .. Best Mod on Fallout 4 right now is recreation of Lookout Point (Fallout 3 DLC) really well put together -
best new location mod since Mojave Project But today and rest of weekend is all about Star Wars lots to look forward too
Only seeing thes now for first time so it'll take some time to work out whats going on here.. this too is fresh out hopefully I'll replace this with proper one
as the americans say "I'm Stoked for this"
Arrghh blocked well it was blurry and only half the picture anyhow -Season 3 will be something else!
Then theres Jedi Surviour I wonder if it connects up wth Obi Wan series could be set in same timeframe perhaps Cal knows the hung Jedi Kenobi meets on Tatooine
Not long now till shows debut "almost there!"
The Orignal Black Flag . I guess Putin should lay off the Steroids -he's gone all Mick Jonson Do Russians have Brookside? I can imagine a Soviet Harry Cross lol it's quite possible in the Boris Yeltsin era lol -Russian people aren't the villians-It's just him the meercat and his clique -he insults the memories of the men and women that fought against Operation Barbarossa 80 years ago- the people who had to suffer Lenningrad, Kursk , Stalingrad the Arctic Convoys and indeed the liberation of Ukraine and Poland and the brave fighters who reached Berlin - if that's a tribute to them it's backfired hideously ,back then It was about survial and justice not the mad notions a messed up fool like Stalin and his bootlickers , BTW who wants the letter Z to wind up like the next swastika? watching The Count on Sesame Street will feel more sinister plus I dig Zombierella so I won't have it !!!-The Guilt will get the BullShitter Meercat in the end. .. a total jackanory so get wise military coup anything giving you guys a bad rep you don't deserve .
So Stop! Peace is always The Wisest Option and .the Only Option.!
We can only pray that April will be a more peaceful and progresive month.-
Art Hugh Fleming-saw this back in the 90's he's got Sir Alec to a T
Space Hong Kong. Lord Jim style Beyond our Ben -The Trailer's finally descended down to Earth.
I fondly remember this version of Kenobi just before Prequels or just after. Either Thom Yotke or Travis doing Oasis.
Awesome Battlefront 2 (meaning the original) Mod featuring Boba & Kenobi duking it out without a hud
When I think of great Battlefront Modders I think of Sereja from The Ukraine I hope he's alright.
Boba and Ben on more friendly terms,,,
I'll leave final word to the man himself George Smiley
...With Terrence Stamp doing a Dick Van Dyke version of Michael Caine lol
I haven't been posting lately -working on a coloured version of Johnny Red - which is set in Russia during WW2 -that was 80 years ago -Putin's gone stark raving mad!- westerners may well be "drug addereled " certainly not Nazi's though- better than been Vodka addict- that stuff makes you see red .. pisses me off as we have Russians in our family now so I cannot be anti Russian but that mad man has to go along with his brainwashed pals.
,, it's the regime not the people.- My plan with these playlists was to brainwash people into been cool I guess it aint working -but I'll keep trying
R.I.P blue flight suit - prefer grease monkey look to his black monky robes - but we gotta move on from that-I like the way he dug himself out of hole and ended up Lord Fett( Did Cad Bane call him Bobo?lol ) Hope theres a BobFather Part 2- I imagine storyline will carry on through Mando 3 perhaps Boba can steal two of his episodes lol always wondered who guy with head band bricking it was now a know..
"Vapor" coz he farted alot lol,- I guess he copped it on the Sail Barge .. then again he could of escaped with Max Rebo
If we see Boba's Palace again it needs to be filled with chaps like these next time around - early days for a Crime Lord -seems more like a Law Enforcer to me oh same thing !
Theres a whole back story here with Ardon I think he's a farmer trying to cut a deal with Jabba or at least try and convince Jabba to help with a loan I guess Boba's looking after him and putting up with his flatulence hence keeping his helmet on throughout his scenes.
Took me back to 83 so show was a success in my eyes- old gunfighters that survive against all odds become wiseheads like John Wayne and Yul Brenner like characters that's the romance of the Western and The Eastern wisdom in the form of a lizard going up your nose - its been a fun trip- I aint griping we always have the mercernary days Fett and we will have the Boba that turned a page .. so in that respect a good story -Boba's Bonanza whilst Mandalorian's the High Chaperell for thee future kids to get nostalgic about.
Let it Flow
I think about Jeremy Bulloch his character and a Celtic fan so top bloke -heartbreaking the day he died was announced Book of Boba was tagged into Mandalorian credits - Life goes oin -maybe new Boba's baseda little on Jeremy -he had a cool way of looking at the world he lived in.
Now I'm eagle eyed I check Boba's helmet in episode 8 of Mando his Armour looks like the freshest Jammy by the time he hits Jabbas palace their is significant scratches - something happened in-between Fennec and Boba getting back to Jabba's palace coz he did sod all to get those scratches within that time unless Fennec's been taking potshots to see how strong armor really is .
WIP Gene Day & Tom Palmer with my re-colouring I'll messaround with imagary from episode 5 and get down to the real gnitty gritty sometime.
The Gist -watch it back to back without the recaps or titles- like a proper long western-I intend to do that.. Fennec should have own show or tell Boba the Pykes hired her on Tatooine in first place (she's ruthless to them to make a mends to Boba - then in season 2 we are in real Bobfather 2 realm .
Good to know Boba's a gent so much to get through workingman suffers the worst -but see's good in the end.. may be corny but been a cynic isn't the Way - Grogu is the best way to answer back toi all the Man Babies out there lol-
48 year old Ben next -still at top of his game you better check ya neck Vades
Panel from 1977 Roy Thomas ,Howard Chaykin adaptation of Star Wars which I wanted to colour I may come back to this if I can figure out how to use clone tool and add patterns from bubblegum cards- it's how I orginally experienced Star Wars through bubblegum same goes witjh Superman movie -
Not much to report on Boba as he was barely in episode again ... not complaining though I'm viewing the whole show like a space Leonne movie so a sprawling five + hour epic with many players so if Bob's screentime a bit scarce that's staying true to the movies lol .
Looking ahead to season 3 of Mando hopefully Fenn Rau -Mandalorian Protector is one Jetboy we'll get to see around Christmas 2022
Rau was Fenn Shysa certainly a Boba head nod to the original and a Celt to boot ,but his surname is a rude word in German(Fenn "Shite "was writer unhappy at the time?) -Mandalore is very messed up from events in the last episode of Book Of Boba Fett I'm assuming we'll get to see a live action version of the planet in Season 3
Mandalorian Protectors or Journeymen Protectors existed pre Clone Wars it's always been a thing.,,so first statement here is wrong... but nice to see a video about them.
Ahh .. it's Karen Traviss(should be a planet named after her) of Republic Commando novels all this is been retconned sorta although Rau fought on the Republics side .. perhaps a group of Mando's do attempt to kidnap Leia -could be the reason for Obi Wan show.
I coloured the flashback double spread of that story a few years back tried to make Leia more Padme coloured as Fenn confused Leia with her Mum. although not canon anymore blah blah.
I feel like I can come back to this image one day as I feel like I've improved with colouring over the years -I feel like I can make this more solid these days.(Come to think of it could do a updated version featuring Boba Din and Fenn -might give it a shot when I can)
More Bantha Trax
Bit worried about my Homeboy Max -I won't go into spoilers but here's Meg again. I do wish it was singalong with Max -maybe we'll hear his voice someday.
One more episode -It's Gotta be like The Wilde Bunch finale but in Star Wars universe.-That is the Way.!
Updated-06/02/22 almost forgot about this Boba related news - please please please make this game - seems like a good origin story for how Boba retrieved Jango's/Jaster Mereels armour -maybe include other planets too though...
There's a cancelled Maul game too-that looked great too ,
Djarin and Fett , kinda of a jetboy version of Starsky & Hutch , hope these guys don't fall out-although that would be entertaining.. what if instead Fennec was actually working for The Pykes all along and killed the Tuskens ? now that would throw a grenade into the room.. why was she on Tatooine in the first place ?
Dallas knocked it out the park again with "The Return of The Mandalorian" really is Mando season 2.5 -and it dares to travel at it's own pace -Hope her Dad gets to do some Lando episodes -need Younger Solo back too.
Bo's kinda ruthless here.. Boba would of talked them down , how things and perceptions can change in a matter of weeks.
Wonder if we get to see Jango strut his stuff in Mandolorian Civil War ?(the one prior to this one) Mandolorian Protectors Vs Death Watch -that was the Way!
Would make a good game or tv show.Did I see Ludvig cameo as X Wing Pilot?.. one of his many best tunes!
No idea what to predict for next weeks Chapter ..perhaps it's Captain Hondo's live action debut... a few old school Battlefront 2 stills
Episode IV The Gathering Storm came out today-really it's Slave 1 and Fennec's episode -I expect Agent Coulson to cameo( Clark Gregg would make an excellent high ranking Alliance leader for example) -Love Ming Na Wen -I like to think Boba and her are romantically involved he'd be her toyboy lol even though he looks older Boba's about 42 by time he met Mando.
Jango named Slave 1 as he was one himself after the Massacre at Galadrin-whether that's still canon I don't know but it should be
PC World we live in is silly and too precious sometimes -the joke Lando made to Boba in Robot Chicken must of stung -Firespray Gunship is a cool name too -of course people should never forget slavery, it still very much exists today so why on earth is it a bad name for Boba's ship? , kids have to learn history to see how abhorrent it is changing the name of his ship won't help. But we've seen a more human side to Boba in this series dosen't really need to mention old name anyhow.
But what of the other Bounty Hunters ships?
I remember Uncle Bossk moving around in this thing
My predictions for final episodes -Well Din's coming in the next episode (question is will he be wearing his Bucket or has he changed too...) Dave's episode we'll flashback to Cad Bane and the origin of the dent. unless Cad's still kicking in Mando times but he's got to turn up final episode massive shoot out between Pykes ("Don't tell him your name Pyke!")Where New Republic get involved and it won't be just Han I reckon Lando and Chewie may turn up as peacekeepers -but we'll see may be surprised with what transpires -maybe I'm only person who digs "The Power Rangers" but it's so nice to have something I dreamt up in 1997 seem to turn up in Star Wars universe (The Mod's and The Scooters that is) Drashes is very much like Jonah's Scooter Moby so it's kinda like the makers may of tuned into my old stories maybe it's just coincidance not mad about it ,may seem out of place those cyber kids as many of audience point out but I just see it as what if Anakin grew up on Tatooine instead of becoming a Jedi he'd be doing stuff like them -not the greatest chase sequence ever but they're trying things out sometimes it's trial and error-hopefully next Scooter chase will be better
Illustration Wayne Clayton.
Everytime I'm in kitchen and cooking something this phrase pops into my head-the next Sparta? perhaps not but it makes me laugh when I think about it.
Start these things off as a way to cheer myself up-as weeks progress things got tainted by what I hear in the news -never felt more divided and disrepected -I hope people aren't asleep on this -BBC tend to help these lying two faced cretins - there was a time when they'd relish such a hideous contradiction -
Back in May 2020 my Mum had to go into hospital and at the same time my best mate also wound up in hospital -My friend picked up covid there he died that summer no one could say goodbye -no one could attend cremation whilst my Mum spent monthes away from her family - sure i'd have a drink and smoke in that time frame but on my jack jones especiually in May 2020-just hope the Badship Boris sinks this week for good of all sanity.- Back to Boba in next post -reality can take a walk right now
Boba needs to fill his palace up soon -he'll probably turn it into a garage instead .
Should P.M the so called P.M The Book of Bojo
Same goes for with Camies ex ! Seriously they need Mace back in some shape or form -I'd rather if he came back pre Return of the Jedi though he'd be too old by the time this series is set -perhaps season 2-we get some pre Empire Strikes Back Fettbacks hopefully Sam will appear
-
Episode 3 The Streets of Mos Espa - Scooters and Drash are very me -Cybermod I wish we saw Kira in Sequels I think George would of come full circle and re filmed American Grafitti but with Midiclorins instead of milkshakes
Next episode I think Din and Grogu will turn up in flashback or he'll hook up with Fennec as we head closer to the events before Boba blasted Bib!
But whats the deal with Cobb Vanth mining guild are on the take are they working for the Pykes too
Another excellent episode of "Space Kojak" TBOBF's more Corbucci than Leonne this series which is most welcome.
Been chilling to these lately.
Classic Bob -had this poster back in the day used it for reference for fancy dress costume when I was 11 so just after Return of the Jedi coming out -my cousin helped me ,make costume and I used a real motorcycle helmet and a boiler suit -jet pack was made from a coke bottle -my Dad was meant to drive me over to the old labour hall where the party was happening but he got caught up in work so I had to walk there in full costume got some strange looks from passers by (way b4 cosplay and all that) not sure host knew who Boba Fett was then lol he sure does now - guess the Sarlaccs tummy acids faded Bobs flight suit much whiter than the original denim blue- Jawas have no taste though should of went for his dope trainers -Fett was the reason I rocked Hi Tec back then guess they were my fave ever trainers -1983 was a different universe .
Jeremy Bulloch style Icon.
Not sure about his new boots they'd suit Fennec more -more like riding boots perhaps it's a Tusken thing.
Another great episode -not sure what some critics agenda is but maybe they fail to understand what story is about really -it's a deconstruction and reconstruction of Mr Fett -Sure Episode One of The Mandalorian is neo perfect but in this story it's a different pace and a different theme -stick with it perhaps you'll eat your words I hope so- some people think it's clever to be negative - if it truly sucked I would of said that already as a .long time Boba Fan'
If you haven't seen "Tribes of Tatooine " yet I won't spoil anything -I get an Irving Kershner vibe as he directed the sequel to A Man Called Horse a movie which deals with similar situation to Boba's - you knew something had changed when we first get a glimpse of him in season two of Mando -the first two episodes explain why that is .
To get into the Boba spirit last night I checked out The Tem Show from about 2005 - be sure to check out the link on the to the other parts on a seperate website but truly great stuff.
Could do with more Ming though that's my only gripe no doubt we'll get to see how how Boba saved Ms Shands life perhaps in episode 3 or 4 - good to see Boba's not a bad sort after all I mean most of the Clonetroopers aren't bad lads so it makes sense he'd do that anyhow even before he fell into Sarlacc Pit.
Can't wait till next Wednesday
Episode One-"Stranger in a Strange Land" didn't dissapoint !-.. will all episodes have Maiden Names ? lol
Mind could be a Boba Nod to Leon
Sometimes it feels like I'm calling the shots which is nice -lots of love for thee Fett worldwide - Robert Fetts kinda like Chris Adam's in Magnificent Seven rather than Clint's Blondie I guess thats Din Djarin .
Hope we get a blast of this tune before series is over
Jangos Theme hopefully will turn up somewhere too- would like Jango and Son Flashbacks
Mos Espa like I thought -easter egg city- not a good idea to watch this vid ifyou don't want spoilers - Sand Person Chief should be Mace Windu in hiding that would be a cool but highly unlikely twist
looking forward to seeing Camie and Fixer -hope Fett gives him a bit of Boba bover lol wou;d be nice if Camie evolved into Mara Jade -just a cool and highly possible idea unless sand people do her in that is .
nah about episode 2 or 3 they'll appear.
Agent May the Force be with You :)
Untill my next Dork Out probably next Wednesday - gonna be a fun journey .something to brighten up 2022
Haven't been as excited about December the 29th ever I guess lol -is there a reason for Fett to come out after Christmas -probably not very Christmassy in spirit -then again could be like the Christmas Carol on Tatooine with Boba as Scrooge here's some new footage from teasers although I imagine we'll see far more planets and moons than just Tatooine.
With Agent May too! I don't agree with the lack of bucket - but we know Tem from Jango if it's what George wanted so be it - and making a Fett the clone template was a very smart move on his part-seems closer to Georges version of how sequel trilogy should of went for example girl on swoop bike reminded me of Georges character Kira (formerly Winkie)who would of been main protagonist in his Force Awakens I reckon Dave and Jon could explore midichlorins -perhaps that's one for Ashoka show to explain -perhaps Ezra and Thrawn learnt about The Whills from been whisked away by massive space whales in the final Rebels episode - always thought Whills were the name of Yods's species throughout 80's and 90's - also thought Ben and Owen were blood brothers (in original Star Wars encyclopedia it's stated that they are related)
Meanwhile my own Boba Epic continues In FettOut Season 2 (I know people haven't the time to watch all of these -just wanted to make a cool on going Star Wars movie for no money budgetrock style lol).
Even created a space Magnum -An all star cast especially glad to persuade The Duke John Wayne to play Dengar (made good use of Porter Gage) Tommorow will either Rock or be a massive WTF ? I've got faith in shows makers always liked Robert's movies Roadracers been a fave
Boba in Boston -Hopefully the Bobster will get to the Institute before Christmas (I could cheat but wheres the story in that) There must be twin earths in Star Wars galaxy lol -Thought I'd beat Disney to the punch -set between Solo and Star Wars -Beckett didn't get killed Han used a stun shot as he's not a bad guy- but things have taken a turn for the worse here...
A few stills from Fett a Far Out story- maybe it should be called The Fetts like the Waltons -I think thats what Andors going to be about-not just Cassian but his familly -like a Space Sullivans lol
Seriously need to recruit Solo's body guard here
Boba and Lobot go way back
Tem and Pam back together -need to find a red jacket like the real Barb Wire. Both Bounty Hunters so team up makes total sense in the Johnverse.
Had to feature young Carrie here too
The First Blade Runner Star Wars Fallout 4 crossover ?
so I've got two Harrison Fords running around the Commonwealth - Nick Deckard the Replicant.kind of works if you recall the original Blade Runner with the old skool narration.and Han acting like a cock hence Han Cock
This happens alot
Bo Katan and Omega going through a transitional phase -seriously need to find the mod for her helmet just using generic Mando one at the moment theres a Din mod out there somewhere but my Din is more DIY made from other armours
Should get into New Vegas to try this out not sure its out though
I'll probably feature more stills on other blog later today
Apparently this chaps not a Bounty Hunter -I guess the markings on the helmet got re-used on Fenn Shysa (sorry Germans it's his name) and Tobbi Dala's armor in the original Marvel comics so they had access to the pre production images for reference? -Nice to see the wee documentary the other day but if it was me I'd of made it about an hour long lol- maybe all will be explained in the Book of Boba Fett
I'm hoping they'll be taking elements of the prototype armours and Joe and Ralphs designs and incorporating them into the series if not maybe the computer game they've got planned -maybe Fett did originally serve the Empire hence the White armour -perhaps he did kill an officer as stated in Dark Empire 2 - perhaps he joined up temporary to pull off a job like Beckett Val and Rio in Solo -their pathes may of crossed at some point.- be interestong to see Fett around the time of Solo -maybe we'll get the chance to see that at some point
I prefer the ponco in Ralphs paintings to the cape though more Clinty Cool to see someone make this armor none the less .
9 Episodes -My favourite number
Video also concerns Maul -Fett vs Maul would be neat but something tells me Mace Windu may return as a cyborg -perhaps he's gone mad too
But from trailer seems like Fett will be battling the Miners Guild initially perhaps they have connections to Crimson Dawn so story will snowball into a clash with Quira's mob
heres the lowdown of The crossover series which serves as a prelude to the Book of Boba Fett and The Return of Jedi
Fett's a Total bastard to Valance bound to be some payback for that - but seems like Boba's turned over a new leaf by the time he's out of the pit of Carkoon -near death experience may of changed his whole outlook on things -trouble is he's made a feckload of enemies along the way -and why does he leave Cobb Vanth alone perhaps he aided him when he was at his worst?
I'm also hoping we'll get to see Rako Hardeen im Kenobi or at least his disguise pre production paintings look awesome although like anyone else really wanted to see some footage
looks like Nar Shadda -could be 1313 level on Coruscant
This might not even be Kenobi in this painting I'm sure Vader hunted down plenty of Jedi personally - but this image is how I imagined the Duel on Mustafah to look like back in 83 (so it looks like it'll be almost like that) It looks like they are fighting on a exploding ship - if it is Kenobi well Vaders due for another trip to the bacta tank -should be a exciting journey to get to this point.- currently colouring Al Williamsons version of A New Hope -I'll post that on my other blog https://johnohvision.blogspot.com/soon - I reckon the Bobster was going around in this gear around that era - I'm sure Book of Boba won't be dissapointing -I fear 1995 era Judge Dredd ruination if it was in the hands of other directors - but judging by Clone Wars , Rebels and Mando I very much doubt that.-talking of ruination I'll post my FettOut 4 Playlist soon some familiar helmets and faces in that.
Cool Tv maybe it's more Radio -but sound always creates cooler pictures in the head and I should coco by now.
Seems like the 20's are always kinda bleak hopefully by Christmas that pattern of Doomitude will break.
Last of these show got cancelled even with all it's A-Listers ahh shucks in truth since I got new modem feckin things slower and can't upload videos covid era built in obsolescence-least these exist - putting more energy in colouring these days nice to jump into a photoshoot from time to time but filming has stopped which is a pity
Good antidote to real world this stuff but so little time and so much to do these days this project has to take a breather -but dying to play this later
