"If You Wish Upon a Star"
"This is the Way!" & "I Have Spoken" ahh man this show even has catchphrases Fridays will not be the same again till maybe November next year .. got that Happy Days vibe again which says alot.
I wonder if Cad Bane pops up in season 2 that might be him on Tatooine at the end of episode 5 .
Gonna pitch some shows whilst I'm here- "Cloud City Blues" about some Bespin Wing Guards fighting or getting caught up in corruption on the Tibannopolis could star Al Pachino as Baron Administrator Dominic Raynor (he kind of looks like him in the comic) who was in charge of the gas mining operation before Lando won it off him in a game of Sabbac -got this idea looking at Ralph McQuarries early cloud city paintings
I'd even feature Jango in this before he got silver armor as the orignal white armor and poncho looked very cool- be a waste never to see this look on screen
Then there's Crimson Empire ..perfect setting too -wonder if they could de-age Sean Connery always though Kir Kanos looked a bit like Seany boy well at least in the first part of the trilogy
Some Dave Dorman awesomeness -totally in love with Mirith Sinn too (couldn't ask for a better nanny for Ben Solo)
Rogue Squadron featuring Wedge again the perfect kind of serial you'd wanna tune into every week -great to see Wedge in The Rise of Skywalker be it for about a second -very fast moving movie whole film seemed be aimed at Energy Drinkers -but I'll stick with me Guinness another X Wing tv show could be based on Darklighter the story of how Biggs defected from the Imperials my last pitch and I'm very much a fan of these guys would be either Republic Commando /Imperial Commando band of Brothers type show -mind you the animated Clone Wars series did an excellent job depicting life of Clones but what about between the wars - what happened to these guys -and how did the accellorated aging effect them - I'mhoping Obi Wan actually hooks up with Cody again in new live series -could well happen seeing as he had the coolest armour and he was like Obi Wans batman (in militrey terms) and how about Senate Commando's humans with lifes outside the service some would have famillies and a life outside there duty which they'd come into conflict with one such guard been Sagaro Autem Anyhow food for thought in a Galaxy Far Far Away.. hope whoevers reading this had as a neat as Christmas as I have.

Mando Monday
IG11 & Dyn Jarren (how do I know his name? You'll find out in a second)-still maybe it's a nickname like "Blondie" in The Good and the Bad and Ugly... I guess the Pint spilling routine is universal.
it was actually himself or the Carmine Infantino looking alien that spilt the drink-kinda sets things up this scene theres in a chink literally in the Mando's armor get the feeling we'll get to see his more human side as the story progresses
It's been a good past week if you're a fan of all things Mando and Star Wars although difficult in my country to able to watch it -I had to watch first episode in Russian or a Eastern European language bombarded by betting adverts but dialouge aside I liked what I saw and most importantly understood it - So I guess I saw it almost like a proper Spagetthi Western except Slavic instead of Italian I managed to see second episode in English though thankfully but really have to be on guard for malaware and shite like that-I blame Murdoch not Disney for this dumb state of affairs I could rant about that but shows lived up to my expectations - but hate having to wait till Summer wouldn't it be smarter to have a DVD/Blu Ray release before then maybe that'll be what will happen. Here's Dyn (maybe it's wrong spelling ) discussing his role
I'll try to avoid spoilers in this post except The Mandolorians actual name-they don't give away too much in this show theres no indication of the names of the planets (unlike Rogue One which did name planets and moons with a subtitle but that didn't feel very Star Wars- but this show doesn't tell you so you have to listen for clues where the action takes place -a bit difficult when you know about 4 words of Russian)
Sir Dave (well I'd give him a Knighthood)and Jonny F on the making of the show actually durr same interview with Pedro but nevermind
Theres plenty of speculation about a short scene in first episode whether or not it's Boba Fett -too clean I reckon could be a Mandalorian Protector like Fenn or Tobbi -as the colours relate but if it is Fett must of spruced up since his spell in the Sarlacc.
Looking forward to Friday or Saturday if I can track down a version of the third episode but all good stuff - proper space western stuff especially end credits paintings memories of shows like Bonanza for a future age-excellent work on Soundtrack as well as Fallen Orders soundtrack really good too
Lovely paintings -like Ralphs Galaxy but grittier really dig these, Musics great in Fallen Order too -got that Yoda on Dagobah vibe I've only just left Bogano jumping around like a mad ginger eejit getting lost constantly falling off ridges re-learning wall running only to repeat that process on another planet lol except I'm gonna have to fight the Empire -been a Jedi is very much a school of hard knocks - maybe my mind will be clearer once I complete this (with my sense of direction that may take a while) but so far so good we'll how this plays out...

Boba Job
Well I think so .. but now it's debatable these days with that TV show which I can't see legally till spring or summer 2020 -nice panel from Shadows of The Empire Comic by John Wagner & Killian Plunkett - sadly this is now legend (but hey now you have Worlds within Worlds concept from Rebels so you could have a multiverse thing going--which is very Marvel) - still this Jodo Kastian dude has a new mini trailer -was wondering if Sheild chick who appears at end of mini trailer was Sabine Wrens Mum under another name- just a thought.
Thought it might be a good oppotunity to vist the Bobsters comic carrer - the good stuff rather than the Force Unleashed II (didn't like that one) bit over the top for me loved the game though even if it was too short I figure his untimely " Death " was due to partying too hard at Jabba's Palace the night before - he did go out like a punk and with great comic timing- I won't get into Jawa's of Doom as I've posted that link to video before - but a few of my faves on this guys video especially the mid 90's Wagner/Kennedy stuff -I've said it before if he ever gets a movie or show should be approached in this manner with the spaghetti galactic humor (talking about Bar Kooda stories) Caravan of Garbage think Boba as kind overated lol -but they love him really. A Jango Classic -deffo Cannon worthy Open Seasons which worked so well with the Bounty Hunter game that came out around the same time. New Marvel one shots- which is canon although still consider Bounty Hunter and Bando Gora to be Boba Facto Legacy -or maybe he had a kid before and lost them (Just before Attack of the Clones came out the name Ambu Fett was floating around -my first thought was Mama Fett but maybe Boba had a sister -just a thought-or perhaps thats the name of the Alpha Clones )The other One Shot featuring Fett JR -deserves his own series though or maybe a Bounty Hunter mini series.
Hunters Guild sounds like something you'll see in Mandolorian with Apollo Creed paying the wages so connects up pretty well- more art from Blood Ties -I did enjoy the arc of this story - I tried to write a follow up with the characters introduced in this series -The Mandalorian Seven -https://hipsville365ad.blogspot.com/2016/05/the-mandalorian-seven-old-threat-part-1.html and a little bit of part 2 https://hipsville365ad.blogspot.com/2017/03/the-mandalorian-7-part-2-big-freeze.html
but I think for now I'll get down to my own creations & stories over the next few years

I am the Lore!
Stayed up late last night to see new trailer as it happened -Impressive most Impressive -
The head on spike thing reminds me of what my ancestors would of done to Elizabethian Nobelmen and their armies to scare them off their land-of course it didn't work in the long run .-Alex and his Mrs bring up some interesting points here -could be like "Once Upon A Time in a Galaxy Far Far Away"or "How the Galaxy was Won" I'm guessing Mandalores still under Imperial control after Galactic Civil War much like Spain was still under fascist control after the Second World War -we'll see I hope Bo and Fenn Rau are still kicking -Sabines ok though after Jedi but she's out searching for Ezra with Hera and Ashoka (would be cool to see some real life Clone Wars and Rebels characters appear in this or Cassian show they have planned) and not impossible seeing as Daves involved -I am worried though that we won't get to see show in UK for a while due to some dealings with Sky and Netflix -I went to Disney + website to sign up filled in e-mail address (did it twice as I expected a automactic response but nowt been about a fortnite now)probably need to find an alternate way to see it or wait for DVDs although don't want to do that as spoilers will be flying all around the web
Mr F -Kudos Dude I think I first saw him in Swingers back in the day VHS video tape days -I hate to say it but Marty and Ken Loach are wrong about Marvel Movies they are cinema just a different form of cinema - sounds a bit uppity of them if you ask me - they're masters of their craft for sure -but part of the cinematic experience is to escape the everyday - and they could of messed up the whole Marvel thing big time but they haven't -so gotta disagree with that-that said I really looking forward to The Irishman that's a project I've heard about since the 1980's -there was also a rumor of a Dean Martin and Nat King Cole biopic theres two movies I'd like to have seen but I guess those were just rumors
round off with a interview with the makers and players of the show - Something I saw of FB yesterday that harks back to 1982 and Gene Day who along with David Michelinie created Mandalore for Marvel comics although its gone through alot of changes since those comics came out
Better link the pages of the original stories I recoloured again -took me a good while to do these pages still if you prefer the originals I don't mind It was just a fun experiment to see if I could colour a Star Wars story naturally this was my fave non Al Williamson story https://hipsville365ad.blogspot.com/2015/08/colouring-project-star-wars-search.html- and https://hipsville365ad.blogspot.com/2019/02/star-wars-colouring-project-death-in.htmlI've coloured a few more of The Stennax Shuffle too although I think I'll focus on my own characters right now that's my main priority at the moment -I'm looking forward to posting a few pages of artwork soon

Been raining all week -no Indian Summer here -still enjoyed putting this one together -all that cool stuff that flutters through me head whilst I go through Youtube - Mustang Challengers , Burgerville Headliners,Ex Boy Hairdressers Cool Swedes(trying to get in touch with my inner Viking but I'm guessing I'm more Celt) Mr Osterberg and the usual unacknowleged geniuses - like Hedy painted this back in 2005(seems like the 21st Centuries faster than the 20th doesn't seem long ago) not sure I got her -but I was trying out monotone as I was happy where colour was going early days for me and photoshop -needed to see if I could do Black N White as well back then in a similiar way
Thinking of the future and how I will illustrate this story I have planned -you may see results of that in a few weeks -but Turners going to be a big influence on how I want to paint the sky , the water and the grime of future London (toying with the idea of calling city Londown as thats how some people pronounce it ) Its a story living in my head so long I'll need to execute it well.- need to get off me arse too but always looking after other people -impossible sometimes to motivate myself - but I ll do a cover or a poster to see if it gets my motor running.

"Reasons to Be Cheerful"-Part IV
About an hour ago I was raging that I couldn't get online funny how things change - needed to do another these posts in spite of all this Brickit Bollocks
Gotta Love Ian we had same art tutors and met him slightly before he died at a ? and the Mysterians gig- Image above Marvin the Paranoid Android (the proper one)I was unaware till sunday that Adrien Moles Dad and Marvin are one of the same.
Can't beet a bit of Beryl lol.. nowt much has changed with my outlook on things since I was 13- guess traumatic stuff happening soon after froze all that -like Captain America . Bit like Adrien when he was 13 these days guess he'd be around 47 too .
Wanted to tip my hat to Marvin -kinda set me up for what lay ahead in life lol Thursdays used to be the best day on Telly ..I also used to listen to this on the radio -after the Today programme back in the days before breakfast telly if I was running late to school-always fascinating
maybe I have learnt a thing since I hit 13
Just two month to go "and the circle will be complete". hopefully it'll rock -although rather have dlc to all that micro-tranactions don't believe in all that dlc is always better value for money. I'll be living on Dantooine for a month till it comes out I'll keep this one going some mad firefights ahead .
May well happen (seeing as it's Disney lol) Jedi Book.

Know Future
Birthday in a few days just another year where bad stuff happens it seems yet again , nothing changes and when it does it's for the worse -I gotta fight back only assholes seem to win these days that's gotta change
Decided to start again try and make it work one more time as it's a grand scale project that needs to be out in the world but wanna re-think story so it works like a screenplay , whats more also gotta figure out how am I going to approach this , pen , ink? photoshop ? That needs to be done with a style that is all my own but at same time readable and easilly understood
Couple of old design sketchs from 2012 (seriously didn't think it was that long ago) when I was going for it for some reason
Not sure I'm gonna feature cops in new story as the laws totally broken down -maybe some haywire law bots kinda like the time they mistook me for a burgular when I tried to get into my own house https://hipsville365ad.blogspot.com/2017/11/fuzzin-up.htmlexcept these robots are permently out of order
May bring Debs back was a design for a Deadly Sin (the girl gang that are the anti heroines of the story) but I was going to kill her off early in story I think story would work better if they are not established just yet but how they all come together so the reader can get to know their back story
Nuclear bikes will certainly make an appearence as will The Klique & Rucka's (My futuristic take on Mods and Rockers)as well as other gangs such as the Spivs, Yeomen and The Windsor Mob - but also want a bigger scale conflict that is raging across the Blitz ridden streets of London between the Korp and The Militia
This drawing goes back to 1998 for the original Rumble Comic -
Anyway here's script for The Dedly Sins story I wrote earlier in the decade ends suddenly as I gave up my heart went out of it - here's how it turned out but I'm going back to my sketch books and try another approach
https://hipsville365ad.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-futureless-chapter-1the-deadly-sins.html
and here's the script
Frame 1: Full moon over London ,View on Tower Bridge against the yellow moon three tiny spots can also be seen against the distance. Two Policemen stand by their grounded Aero Panda Car one gazes at the three dots with his advanced binoculars
Policeman 1:"Full moon brings out the loons they say"
Policeman 2:(with the binoculars) "Too right Sarge-'ere have a ganders at this."
Frame 2:
Side view of Police Sergeant with binoculars his eyes widen at the sight-
Policeman 1:"Kliqueys! -proper troublemakers maybe we call up the microbe cam division for this.
Frame 3:
A better view of the 3 dots on the moon.. the silhouettes of air scooters appear-including wind-mirrors and there riders.
Policeman 2:"Allo Microbes required at this location,I'll punch you in the co-ordinates."
Frame 4:
The Images draw closer three riders are approaching but they also have pillion passengers-In the center is Rudy Churchill -with his girlfriend Pillbox clinging onto him wearing trademark black and white suit pork pie hat and two tone scooter "Buster"-whilst Pillbox wears her police chiefs hat and plastic mack -to his right is Jonah Jacks replesent in Astro-Parka ever present roll up in mouth and ever present sunglasses fixed firmly to his face he too has a girl riding in the back seat-this is Emilia Wood , long honey blonde bunches flying in the wind done up in the height of mod fashion in a yellow suit dress -similar to one worn by Verna Bloom in Medium Cool.. white belt white high boots. To Rudy's left Bruiser Collin's- a big man burgundy suit he isn't as lucky as Jonah and Rudy as in his back saddle sits Davey Crocker -wears a Davey Crockett hat made from raccoon and astro parka similar to Jonahs with a few personal alterations -the scooter bruiser flies differs somewhat from the Jonah and Rudy's as it's an older model.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
See it just ended - but decided to come back to this as it's mine and mine alone -I've had a shite week just want life to change instead I the same old same old -and I aspire to something better I gotta try at least. Hopefully feel better by Monday gonna be another year older dunno if its worth celebrating,
Decided to start again try and make it work one more time as it's a grand scale project that needs to be out in the world but wanna re-think story so it works like a screenplay , whats more also gotta figure out how am I going to approach this , pen , ink?

Blinding!
Undoubtly my fave show on TV right now -watched every episode so far over the last week good old Aunty Beeb and Netflix best show to come out of Brummie since Pipkins
A story about Tommies coming back from first world war -to a criminal world -I'm not sure it's ever been done before (maybe When the Boat Comes in but I only have vague memories of that ) as well as this the claykicker flashback scences are very Charleys War did bring back memories of that story line Cuts off-arrrgggh ! no spoilers I guess -How is Tommy so fecking beautiful? only 4 years younger than me -super cheekbones and clear blue eyes Peter O'Toole style-so a bit of a Godhead very well cast-
Barnets WW1 style should go to Billy Childish's barber - but yeah they got that right too I guess going bald wasn't as common then -I blame shampoo-I notice that in old photos still been rocking that style of hat for a couple of years least I'd be in fashion in the 1890's
The use of soundtracks odd I saw first episode a few years back I wasn't sure it worked at first , reminded me of Django Unchained -but after watching it recently I thought why not -I'll stick with it can't really go wrong with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds , White Stripes ,Bowie and lately Anna Calvi , Iggy Pop, Black Sabbath and in tonights Episode Joy Division -adds a surreal element --and breaks the rules of coventional soundtracks-Short Interview with Stephen Knight shows creator
Fascinating and horrifying that's Arthur Shelby -It's a strange thing he does unspeakably horrible things but because you know he's been damaged by the war and his old man you're kind of sympathic in a odd way , he's driven by demons you route for him if he crosses the Billy Boys or the Mafia and soon the blackshirts (I hope) for example as you know they're another form of bastard-not sure he's in control of it -but things will go to shit if he's taken out of the picture I don't fancy there chances against him -he was at Gallopoli (should have a quiet word with Mr Churchill) and- he needs to re-unite with his Dad the very definition of a shitehawk -hope that happens in a future series behind the scenes of my fave action scene -kinda Millers Crossing in 20's Birmingham Gotta wait another week bah!.. for season 5's finale it's interesting that show will go on for 7 seasons although theres going to be a gap usually theres a two year gap between each season -would hope theres more than 7 seasons but it's meant to conclude with the luftwaffe bombing Birmingham in 1940- story right now is set in 1929 (not sure Mosely really became a problem till about 1931) but whats great about show is its unpredictibility and energy -strong writing and casting -no doubt I'll feature another post on other blog as it's also a story of strong women.. but well worth viewing for a unique take on early 20th century underworld

"A Moment of Clarity"
Post's got nowt to with Pulp Fiction but Jules line has and whats more he's alive whilst Vincent isn't the reason been "A Moment of Clarity" - which is the theme of this post
Nobody reads this blog too busy I guess, still a good excuse to rant here then can't really do it on social fecking media everyone loves there misinterpretations- chinese whispers are the reasons why worlds a mess -jeez I need to rant outside my head maybe get some kip after -for 29 years my fist has been clenched , now it is open and I can let go still the pain won't go .. but perhaps it'll ease off .
Found out the other day the man who killed my Father -(who was as guilty as sin but still got off scott free due to having a jury that were thick as shite or nobbled or prejudice or just been plain old wrong -seems to be alot of that about these days) died last December -
Back in Summer of 1990 I wanted to kill him when I was 17 - I drank whiskey so rage was in my heart I went out with the dog and bought a shank with me I wanted to do him over - you would too if you actually loved your father-So many people don't so at least in that respect I was lucky - so off I trot with the dog to Legoland which what we called the area where this get lived - but in the end I caught myself on- meaning it wasn't worth the effort wasn't worth my time wasn't what I am - and wasn't most importantly what my Dad would want me to do - besides the dog well she wouldn't like it either - but man I was a timebomb -nobody defused me nobody could but myself - I carried this sense of powerlessness around with me but at same time it is a form of power -sense overiding senselessness but thats it - I could overcome it in the long run -for all the good it did later - but feel more of a man for not doing something stupid - sure I'm still daft as a brush but not that stupid
-
A few years later meet some asshole gluesniffers (kind you meet in jobclubs mid 90's as there was no work) say they'd of done it -that they'd "do bird " for there old man - but would they? I doubt it some people are all talk some people are just nuts - glad I had a word with myself - still life is swings and roundabouts way it is - progress though just stays the same -stuck in the mud can't get no further you take joy in the small things or at least try - bollocks to ambition that's gone for me -seems fake in this world -doubt it'll come back - but least I realize forgiveness is a saviour stops you from been less than a animal -I have to forgive - not been ultra catholic here just been rational -I have no idea what kind of man killed my Dad but he too was a familly man with kids and a wife -who am I to judge -its a wrong moment in time I gotta live with that but at least I can move on now although feels like 30 years have been wasted - I may have 30 or 40 years left -I'll try keep life simple and upbeat- make the best of that time left & feck this Brexit nonsense all a big scam constructed by toffs to score a big huge amount of lolly wish people would wake up to that too busy arguing amongst each other to see the big picture -people as a collective always do that it seems - but they'll either wake up check there heads or do something that may do harm to there lifes and those around them or they can change it like I did 29 years ago .
Bit personal but no one to talk to -been like that for a while... just a extended thought bubble -

HypTV 69
I would prefer Frank as PM oppossed to this guy...
I wonder if Boris actually saw the Big Lebowski seeing as he's a self declared "Dude!" I got his # way back in 2013 when Saints Row came out
Whats happening in Westminister can be likened to a Guinea Pig running riot whilst other MP's are trying to knock his noggin with a big mallet -seems like "The Rebel Alliance" will see to that.. or will they? fascinating to see how this will turn out , I spose it happens all the time in Italy lol
Starts off slow gets a bit Seedy & Scouse halfway through -bit of Mike Reid and Metal Mickey -usual chaos which fits somehow
